In co-operation with Suffolk County Council, Suffolk Norse operates local bus services for the community, and we are always happy to discuss any requirements that communities have for local passenger transport services. Click here to see a list of current services

12 of our newer vehicles are fitted with Euro 5 compliant engines, assisting to reduce exhaust emissions pollution and contributing to Suffolk County Council’s “Greenest County” objectives.

Suffolk Norse are pleased to be able to take on and continue to operate the weekly bus service from East Harling to Norwich providing the local residents with the Regular weekly service into the Norwich. The service will now also enable the passengers to enjoy more time in the city

Managing Director Trevor Whiting said, “where possible and viable Suffolk Norse will always try to provide a local bus service that benefits local residents. We are pleased that we have been able to adjust our service into Norwich to enable local residents in East Harling to continue to travel into Norwich.”

“We hope the residents will benefit and enjoy the service, and continue to support the route to ensure its continued operation.”

Bus service changes, November 2019

Passengers are asked to note the following bus routes currently operated by Suffolk Norse - 108, 134, 143, A14, 375 - will cease to operate after Saturday, November 2 2019.

We take the issue of cancelling any route very seriously and these decisions have not been taken lightly. However, due the costs involved in operating these services, we are unable to continue provide them commercially as they have become unsustainable. Public subsidies for the 375 and 108 services have both been withdrawn. We would like to thank our passengers for using Suffolk Norse over the years.

We have posted information on all the services being withdrawn to provide customers with advance warning of the need to make new transport arrangements for the future.

Passengers are asked to note that route 375 will still operate as a School contract for Suffolk County Council, but will not be able to be used by the general public.
